Cosmic Rain

Cosmic Rain

In this study of Notion Of Time, the night sky Is stripped of It's stillness and revealed as a theater of constant, rhythmic motion. By locking the shutter open for an extended duration, the stars are transformed from static points of light into a downward torrent of silver streaks-a literal 'cosmic rain' that maps the silent rotation of this world. The vast, dark void at the center of the composition serves as a counterpoint to the energy of the star trails, grounding the image In a sense of deep, infinite space. This Is not a photograph of a single moment, but an accumulation of many; It Is a visual record off time itself being etched onto the silver-halide emulsion. This invites you to recognize the grand, sweeping pace of the universe that often goes unseen by the naked eye.
