Ink Black Lines

In this piece, the forest Is stripped of all It's volume and weight, leaving behind only the essential skeletal structure of the trees. By intentionally overexposing the sky to a strak, void-like complex network of ink-black lines. The result Is a graphic abstraction that blurs the line between traditional analog photography and fine-art illustration. The composition focuses on the rhythmic almost mathematical repetition of the smaller twigs as they reach into the empty space.
